Principal Technical Consultant – Banking Modernization & Integration

Location: Trivandrum | Initially office-based; eventually minimum 3 days/week hybrid

The Opportunity

We are looking for a
technical leader who wants to solve enterprise problems — not simply write code.

This role combines:

Architecture + Engineering + Integration + Consulting + Client Leadership

You will work directly with technology organizations of major financial institutions to design and deliver solutions across complex banking ecosystems.

What You'll Do
- Lead technical solution design for complex implementations
- Translate business and banking requirements into technical architectures
- Design integrations across core banking, APIs, event platforms, data and cloud
- Lead technical workshops and architecture/design reviews
- Guide implementation using
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka and PostgreSQL
- Advise clients on integration patterns, scalability,



resilience and cloud architecture
- Troubleshoot complex distributed-system and production issues
- Partner with Product, Architecture and Engineering teams
- Develop reusable implementation patterns and accelerators
- Mentor technical consultants and raise engineering standards

What We're Looking For

Solid experience across:
- Java & Spring Boot
- REST/API architecture
- Kafka & event-driven architecture
- Relational/data architecture
- Azure or comparable cloud
- Docker/Kubernetes
- CI/CD
- Enterprise integration patterns
- Distributed systems
- Client-facing technical consulting

Banking technology experience is strongly preferred.
