Job Title: Credit Control Associate

Role Summary
The Credit Control will be responsible for managing collections, monitoring receivables,
reducing credit risk, and supporting cash flow improvement initiatives. The role requires
close collaboration with finance teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to
achieve collection targets and ensure effective credit management practices.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Follow up with customers and stakeholders to resolve overdue accounts.
Prepare ageing reports, collection dashboards, and KPI reports for management
review.

Support credit control strategies and process improvement initiatives.
Identify credit risks and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with internal teams, collection agencies, and legal partners for account
recovery when required.

Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
Support finance projects and other ad hoc business requirements.
Qualifications
•
•
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Qualified accounting qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
•
Minimum 3 years of experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or
Collections.
•
Experience in a multinational organization is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Sun Systems, Exact) preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong business acumen with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical
solutions.
