Role Overview

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to drive the architecture, technical strategy, and innovation roadmap for next-generation automotive connectivity solutions. The role requires a solid blend of system-level thinking, software architecture expertise, customer-facing leadership, and deep domain knowledge in connected vehicle platforms.

As a senior technical leader, you will define end-to-end architectures spanning vehicle, cloud, mobile, and backend ecosystems while guiding multiple development teams across global delivery centers. The role is expected to shape technical direction, support business growth, mentor architects, and serve as a trusted advisor to OEM customers.

Responsibilities

- Define end-to-end system architecture for connected vehicle and telematics platforms.
- Architect solutions across:
- Telematics Control Units (TCU)
- Connectivity Control Units (CCU)




- Vehicle-to-Cloud Communication
- OTA Update Systems
- Remote Vehicle Services
- eCall/bCall Systems
- Mobile Application Ecosystems

- Establish architecture principles, standards, design patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical governance across multiple programs.

Requirements

- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering field.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded and automotive software development.
- 8+ years of experience in system/software architecture roles.
- Proven experience architecting large-scale automotive connectivity platforms.
- Strong expertise in Linux and Autosar based automotive software platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-connected vehicle ecosystems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
