Role & responsibilities .

- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspection of CNC and VMC machined components.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, GD&T;, customer specifications, and control plans.
- Check critical dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, VMM, Profile Projector, Thread Gauges, Plug/Ring Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor quality during the CNC/VMC manufacturing process and identify deviations at an early stage.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and rejection/rework records.
- Identify quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the Production team to control rejection, rework, and process-related quality issues.
- Ensure that finished components meet drawing and customer quality requirements before dispatch.
- Support 5S, Kaizen, quality improvement, and continuous improvement activities.




- Handle NCR and customer-related quality issues and support corrective/preventive actions.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-6 years of experience in Quality Inspection/Quality Engineering in a machining/manufacturing industry.
- Experience in quality inspection of CNC/VMC machined components preferred.
- Positive knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, measuring instruments, first-piece, in-process and final inspection.
- Experience in rejection analysis, NCR and corrective action will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with forging component experience will also be considered.
