Job Summary - We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing team and handle shop-floor component inspection, in-process/online inspection, and Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that components and finished products meet specified dimensional, quality, and engineering requirements before moving to the next process or being dispatched.

- Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process/online inspection of mechanical components on the factory shop floor.
- Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of finished components/products.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Identify dimensional deviations, manufacturing defects, and quality issues.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, check sheets, and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve inspection-related issues.
- Ensure proper identification, segregation,



and handling of rejected/non-conforming components.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for recurring quality problems.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures, safety practices, and inspection standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of inspected components.
- Required SkillsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD&T;.
- Knowledge of basic quality inspection methods and measuring instruments.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel for inspection documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred - Freshers with valuable mechanical fundamentals are welcome.
- Candidates with exposure to shop-floor inspection, quality control, production, or PDI will be preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO/quality systems and 5S will be an advantage.
