Job Title: Textile Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to develop innovative designs, patterns, prints, and color combinations for fabrics and textile products. The candidate will work closely with production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure designs meet customer and market requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create original textile designs, prints, patterns, motifs, and surface designs.
- Develop color combinations, themes, and design concepts according to market trends.
- Prepare design samples and presentations for approval.
- Modify designs based on customer or management feedback.
- Create repeat patterns and layouts suitable for textile production.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Research current fashion, fabric, color, and textile trends.
- Select suitable fabrics, textures, colors, and techniques for different products.
- Maintain design files, samples, color references, and technical specifications.
- Work with vendors, printers, embroiderers, and manufacturers when required.
- Ensure designs are practical, commercially viable,



and suitable for bulk production.
- Assist in developing seasonal and collection-based designs.

Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in textile, apparel, home furnishing, or fashion design is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of fabrics, prints, embroidery, dyeing, and textile production.
- Strong understanding of colors, patterns, textures, and design principles.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or other design software.
- Good creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work according to deadlines and production requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
