HR Executive – The Black Coffee Café

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and responsible HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations across our café chain. The ideal candidate should have experience in the hospitality, café, restaurant, or retail industry and be comfortable managing employees across multiple outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle end-to-end recruitment for café staff, including Baristas, Kitchen Staff, Stewards, Cashiers, and Outlet Managers.
- Source candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate joining and onboarding.
- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and documentation.
- Coordinate with outlet managers regarding staffing, attendance, performance, and discipline.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, and basic HR training.
- Handle employee grievances and resolve workplace issues professionally.
- Monitor staff turnover and support employee retention initiatives.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance data, incentives, and other HR-related information.
- Ensure HR policies and company procedures are followed across all outlets.
- Support performance reviews and employee development.




- Maintain proper communication between management and outlet teams.
- Assist management in building a strong and positive work culture as the café chain expands.

Requirements:

- 1+ year of experience in HR, preferably in Hospitality / Café / Restaurant / Retail.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination and people-management abilities.
- Comfortable working with multiple outlets and field teams.
- Basic knowledge of attendance, payroll, recruitment, and HR documentation.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

Preferred:

Experience handling HR for a restaurant, café chain, QSR, or retail chain will be an advantage.
