Civil Engineer – Site Engineer

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Civil Engineer / Site Engineer to manage and supervise the complete construction activities at our project site in Kattupakkam.

The candidate will be responsible for overall site execution, daily work planning, labour coordination, material management, quality control, and ensuring that the project work is completed safely and on schedule.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor all day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Prepare daily work plans and ensure timely execution of assigned activities.
- Coordinate and manage contractors, subcontractors, workers, and site labour.
- Check and ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship used at the site.
- Take measurements and maintain proper records of completed work.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other project teams whenever required.
- Manage and monitor construction materials at the site and avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Prepare daily site progress reports and update the management regarding project status.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical and execution issues.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.




- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.
- Ensure proper safety practices and housekeeping are maintained at the site.
- Verify the work completed by contractors and assist with quantity/measurement checking.
- Maintain all necessary site documents, records, checklists, and reports.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with quality and safety standards.
- Take overall responsibility for the smooth functioning of the construction site.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in construction/site execution will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of civil construction activities and site supervision.
- Ability to manage labour and coordinate with contractors.
- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
- Should be willing to work full-time at the Kattupakkam project site.
- Candidates who can independently handle overall site activities will be preferred.
