The Relationship Officer will be responsible for generating and managing housing finance business by identifying prospective customers, understanding their financial requirements, assisting them with suitable home loan products, and ensuring smooth processing of loan applications from lead generation to disbursement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition & Sales

Identify and generate prospective customers for home loans and related housing finance products.

Develop business through direct sales, referrals, builders, property dealers, and other local channels.

Meet prospective customers and understand their housing finance requirements.

Explain loan products, eligibility criteria, interest rates, documentation, and repayment terms.

Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets.

2. Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Follow up regularly with customers throughout the loan process.

Address customer queries and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution.





Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.

3. Loan Processing

Collect and verify required customer documents such as KYC, income proof, bank statements, property documents, etc.

Conduct preliminary assessment of customer eligibility and repayment capacity.

Coordinate with credit, legal, technical, operations, and other internal teams for loan processing.

Track applications from login through sanction and final disbursement.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer information and documentation.

4. Business Development

Develop relationships with builders, property consultants, brokers, employers, and other referral partners.

Generate leads through market visits, customer references, telecalling, and networking.

Identify current business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Maintain regular market intelligence on competitors, property projects, and customer requirements.
