Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Aluminium Windows Estimator with 1–2 years of experience in estimating, quantity take-off, and costing of aluminium windows and doors.

The candidate will be responsible for studying drawings, preparing accurate quantity calculations, material requirements, and quotations while coordinating with the design and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Study architectural drawings, shop drawings, elevations, and BOQ.

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for aluminium windows and doors.

Calculate aluminium profile requirements, glass quantities, hardware, accessories, sealants, and other materials.

Prepare project-wise estimation and costing.

Prepare detailed quotations and commercial offers.

Understand different aluminium window and door systems, profiles, glass specifications, and hardware.

Calculate SFT / RFT / Nos. quantities as required for different products.

Prepare material requirement sheets and BOQs.

Take and verify final site measurements when required.

Coordinate with the design team regarding drawings, specifications, and design requirements.

Coordinate with the purchase and project teams for material requirements and costing.

Review supplier quotations and compare material prices.





Maintain estimation records and update costing based on current material prices.

Identify discrepancies between drawings, BOQ, and site measurements before finalizing quotations.

Assist the management/team in achieving accurate and competitive project pricing.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Aluminium Windows & Doors.

Understanding of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, and installation requirements.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and estimation-related calculations.

Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings.

Robust mathematical and analytical skills.

Good attention to detail.

Ability to prepare professional quotations and BOQs.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / ITI in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience in aluminium windows, doors, façade, glazing, or similar construction-related estimation work.
