We are hiring skilled and experienced Welders, Fabricators and Fitters for our manufacturing and fabrication unit. Candidates should have practical knowledge of MIG welding, TIG welding, ARC welding, gas cutting, metal fabrication, structural fabrication, machine fitting, mechanical assembly and engineering drawing interpretation.
The selected candidates will be responsible for fabricating, welding, fitting, assembling and repairing metal components according to technical drawings and quality standards.
Welder Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, ARC and gas welding based on job requirements.
Weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other metal components.
Set up welding machines and select suitable welding electrodes and filler materials.
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding and removing rust or impurities.
Inspect welded joints for strength, accuracy and finishing quality.
Identify and correct welding defects such as cracks, porosity and undercutting.
Carry out repair welding and maintenance welding when required.
Follow proper welding procedures and safety standards.
Maintain welding machines, cables, torches and safety equipment.
Fabricator Responsibilities
Read and understand fabrication drawings, engineering drawings and blueprints.
Measure, mark, cut, bend, drill and shape metal components.
Perform sheet-metal fabrication and structural steel fabrication.
Use grinders, drilling machines, cutting machines and other fabrication tools.
Assemble fabricated parts using welding, bolting and riveting techniques.
Check dimensions, angles, alignment and tolerances using measuring instruments.
Fabricate frames, supports, platforms, structures, machine parts and customised components.
Ensure completed components meet drawing specifications and quality standards.
Minimise material wastage and maintain proper fabrication records.
Fitter Responsibilities
Perform mechanical fitting, machine assembly and equipment installation.
Assemble components according to drawings and technical specifications.
Carry out alignment, levelling, drilling, tapping and fastening work.
Install bearings, shafts, couplings, gears, motors and machine components.
Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments.
Inspect parts and identify dimensional or alignment issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and basic repair work.
Assist with machine erection, commissioning and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with welders, fabricators, production supervisors and quality inspectors.
Required Skills
Practical knowledge of welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting.
Experience in MIG, TIG, ARC or gas welding.
Ability to read technical and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of fabrication measurements and tolerances.
Experience using vernier callipers, measuring tape, micrometers and spirit levels.
Ability to operate grinders, drilling machines and cutting equipment.
Knowledge of metal types, welding electrodes and fabrication materials.
Good hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Understanding of industrial safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Candidate Requirements
ITI in Welder, Fitter, Fabrication or a related trade is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of relevant industrial experience.
Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also apply.
Candidates should be physically fit and willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work overtime or rotational shifts when required.
Candidates must follow company safety, quality and production procedures.
Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Safety Responsibilities
Wear welding helmets, gloves, safety shoes, goggles and other required PPE.
Follow fire safety and electrical safety procedures.
Inspect equipment before starting work.
Report unsafe conditions, defective tools and workplace hazards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Follow all company EHS and occupational safety guidelines.
