Job Title – DG SET (Diesel Generator) TECHNICIANS (Mechanical / Electrical / Diesel Mechanic)

GREAVES is a diversified engineering company with a legacy of 165 years and solid brand trust. We are into DG set sales and after sales including spare parts and maintenance. The gensets are available in the range of 5 kVA to 2500 kVA

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

DG set technicians are involved in the initial setup and installation of new generator sets and related systems.

Maintenance:

This includes regular inspections, preventative maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and load bank testing to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting & Repair:

They diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues for DG sets and AMF/Standard panels, using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.

Customer Support:

Some technicians may also handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide technical support.

Compliance:





They ensure the DG set complies with relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and generator components.

Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with both mechanical and electrical aspects of DG sets.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to working with generators.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Computer Skills: Candidate should be aware of basic computer knowledge and should know how to use laptops, e-mails and applications

Driving Skills: Candidate must have driving license.
