JOB DESCRIPTION FORM JOB TITLE: Design Engineer LOCATION: Thane/ Bhiwandi Office TERMS: Permanent Employment / Full Time OFFICE HOURS: 10:00 Am To 6.00 Pm (Monday to Saturday) REPORTS TO: Director Technical ABOUT COMPANY: We are manufacturers of material handling equipment used in Warehouses and various industries. ROLE: Design, develop and optimize AVCON's material handling equipment with focus on mechanical structures, hydraulic systems, manufacturability and cost-effective engineering while supporting production from concept to commissioning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · To design products in-line to existing manufacturing range of equipments with marketing content render designing · To issue drawings and BOM for manufacturing to respective vendors for sub assembly parts & assembly drawings to vendor and production teams. · Perform structural design calculations and strength validation. · Design and optimize hydraulic circuits, cylinder selection and power packs. · R&D; in part manufacturing process / technology for cost analysis, up-gradation of existing designs and products.



· To maintain design database and prepare GA drawings with O&M; manuals for existing product range with new equipment range. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Required Technical Skills Mechanical Design & Machine Design Structural Design & Strength of Materials Hydraulic System & Circuit Design Welding & Fabrication Design Engineering Calculations BOM Preparation & Drawing Release GD&T; and Manufacturing Drawings Software Skills SolidWorks (Mandatory) – Parts, Assemblies, Weldments, Drawings & BOM AutoCAD MS Excel & MS Office Candidate Profile B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design Experience in Material Handling Equipment, Hydraulic Equipment, SPM or Heavy Fabrication preferred Robust analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and coordinate across departments Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) First-time-right design accuracy Timely release of drawings & BOM Reduced manufacturing rework Cost optimization through value engineering Successful execution of customer projects Contact Details – Mr. Aniket Sawarkar – Email-
