We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Incharge to manage our warehouse operations, inventory, stock movement and dispatch activities. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of textile/garment stock handling and be capable of managing a warehouse team independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Handle inward and outward movement of materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stock availability.
- Monitor dispatch, returns and stock transfers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, labelling and identification of materials.
- Maintain FIFO and proper inventory control.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales and Dispatch teams.
- Prepare daily/weekly stock and warehouse reports.
- Ensure timely dispatch of orders to wholesale and retail locations.
- Manage and supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily work.
- Ensure proper handling and safe storage of textiles, garments and other materials.
- Identify damaged, missing or excess stock and report immediately.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, discipline and safety standards.
- Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.
- Support stock audits and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in warehouse/store/inventory operations.
- Experience in Textile, Garment, Apparel, Handloom, FMCG or similar industries preferred.
- Positive knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Experience in handling inward, outward, dispatch and returns.
- Good Excel skills and basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with Tally/ERP/Warehouse Management Software will be an advantage.
- Good team-handling and communication skills.
- Should be responsible, organised and physically active.
- Ability to work independently and manage warehouse operations.
