JOB PURPOSEWe are looking for a skilled and responsible EV Scooter Technician to handle the inspection, servicing, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of electric scooters. The technician will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are repaired correctly, safely and within the committed delivery time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. EV Scooter Servicing & Repair

- Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance of electric scooters.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic issues.
- Inspect brakes, suspension, tyres, steering, wheels, lights and other components.
- Carry out replacement of defective parts as per company/service guidelines.
- Ensure proper vehicle assembly after repair.

2. EV Electrical & Diagnostic Work

- Diagnose faults related to battery, motor, controller, wiring, sensors, display, charger and electrical systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment wherever required.
- Check wiring, connectors, fuses and electrical connections.
- Identify error codes and troubleshoot the root cause of vehicle issues.
- Perform battery-related inspection and basic EV electrical diagnostics safely.

3. Battery & Charging System

- Inspect battery performance, charging systems and battery connections.
- Diagnose charging-related complaints.
- Check charger, charging port and related wiring.
- Follow all prescribed EV battery safety and handling procedures.
- Immediately report any abnormal battery condition, overheating, swelling, leakage or other safety concern to the Service Manager.

4. Job Card & Documentation

- Understand customer complaints and accurately record them on the job card.
- Carry out repairs according to the job card and approved process.
- Record parts replaced and work performed.




- Maintain proper service records and update the Service Advisor/Manager regarding vehicle status.

5. Quality Control

- Conduct a complete inspection after every repair/service.
- Perform test rides/checks where required and permitted.
- Ensure the scooter is safe and roadworthy before delivery.
- Avoid repeat complaints by identifying and resolving the actual root cause.

6. Workshop Discipline

- Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the workshop and tools.
- Take proper care of company tools, diagnostic equipment and customer vehicles.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain professional behaviour with customers and dealership staff.
- REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSITI/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical or EV-related trade preferred.
- Prior experience as a two-wheeler technician / EV technician preferred.
- Good understanding of electric scooters and their electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Basic knowledge of battery, motor, controller and wiring systems.
- Ability to use basic diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a service team.

EXPERIENCEPreferred: 1–3 years of experience in two-wheeler automobile/EV service and repair.

Candidates with solid two-wheeler technician experience and willingness to learn EV technology may also be considered.
