Reporting To: Dispatch Manager / Plant Head

Job PurposeTo supervise and manage day-to-day dispatch operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and secure dispatch of finished goods to customers, dealers, distributors, and project sites while maintaining proper documentation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily dispatch activities and ensure timely loading and delivery of finished goods.
- Plan and coordinate vehicle placement as per dispatch requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Production, Accounts, Logistics, and Transporters for smooth dispatch operations.
- Verify dispatch orders, quantities, product specifications, and customer details before loading.
- Ensure proper preparation and verification of Delivery Challan, Invoice, E-Way Bill, LR/Transport documents, and other dispatch documents.
- Monitor loading activities and ensure proper stacking, handling, and securing of materials.
- Ensure dispatches are made as per approved orders and customer requirements.
- Track dispatched vehicles and coordinate with transporters regarding delivery status.
- Maintain daily dispatch records, vehicle details, loading quantities, pending orders, and delivery status.
- Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with the warehouse team to avoid dispatch delays.
- Ensure proper handling of damaged, rejected, short, or excess materials and report discrepancies to the concerned department.
- Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping standards in the dispatch area.




- Coordinate with transporters and drivers regarding vehicle availability, route, loading time, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve day-to-day dispatch and logistics issues and escalate critical matters to the reporting manager.
- Prepare daily and monthly dispatch reports and MIS.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Supervise and guide dispatch helpers, loaders, and other team members.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of dispatch, logistics, warehouse, and transportation operations.
- Knowledge of dispatch documentation, E-Way Bill, invoices, delivery challans, and LR.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/SAP/Tally or other inventory/dispatch software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and preparation of MIS reports.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles and dispatches simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
- Team handling and supervisory skills.

QualificationGraduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.

Preferred ExperienceExperience in manufacturing, construction chemicals, building materials, FMCG, or similar industries will be an added advantage.
