Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Script Editor supporting KLAS Group’s animation and media properties. The Script Editor will review and refine scripts and screenplays to ensure clarity, consistency, and strong narrative structure, aligning with each project’s creative vision and audience. Tasks include editing dialogue and scenes, providing constructive feedback, enhancing pacing and dramatic impact, and ensuring continuity across episodes or story arcs. The role involves collaborating with directors, and producers,



maintaining style guidelines, and adapting scripts based on creative notes and production requirements. The Script Editor will also help identify and resolve story issues early in the development process to improve overall quality and production efficiency. Qualifications Strong script development skills, including Script Editing and Scriptwriting for animation or screen-based storytelling. Experience working with Screenplays and Drama, with the ability to shape character arcs, dialogue, and emotional beats. Excellent Writing skills, with solid command of grammar, narrative flow, and audience-appropriate tone. Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams, provide clear editorial feedback, and incorporate revisions efficiently. Familiarity with animation or entertainment industry workflows and timelines is highly beneficial. Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple scripts and deadlines in a remote setting. Bachelor’s degree in Film, Screenwriting, Literature, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Comfort working on a contract basis with flexible hours aligned to project requirements.
