Notice Period: Immediate-15 days Contract: Oct 2026-Jan 2027(Extendable) Work: Remote(Timings-7 AM-4 PM IST) Exp:10 Years We are looking for an experienced SAP VMS (Vehicle Management System) Consultant / Lead with 10 years of SAP experience and strong expertise in SAP Vehicle Management System, Automotive processes, Sales & Distribution, Logistics, and S/4HANA . The candidate will be responsible for solution design, implementation, configuration, integration, and support of SAP VMS solutions, while also leading functional teams and client discussions. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end SAP VMS implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support projects . Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP VMS solutions. Configure and customize SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) based on business requirements. Strong understanding of vehicle lifecycle management , including vehicle procurement, inbound logistics, stock management, vehicle sales, transfers, and delivery.



Work extensively with SAP SD, MM, LE/Logistics, and related automotive processes . Design and implement integrations between VMS and other SAP/non-SAP applications. Work with S/4HANA and assess impacts of VMS-related processes during transformation projects. Lead requirement gathering, workshops, solution design, functional specifications, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Coordinate with technical teams for ABAP, interfaces, APIs, enhancements, reports, forms, and integrations . Prepare functional specifications and guide development teams. Lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and hypercare activities. Provide functional leadership and mentor junior/experienced VMS consultants. Manage client stakeholders and independently drive functional discussions. Identify process improvements and recommend best practices for automotive and vehicle management processes. Support estimation, planning, risk identification, and delivery governance. Required Skills 10 years of SAP functional consulting experience , preferably with significant experience in SAP VMS. Strong hands-on experience in SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) . Strong knowledge of Automotive Industry processes .



Valuable expertise in SAP SD and MM , with understanding of logistics and inventory processes. Experience with SAP S/4HANA . Strong understanding of SAP integration concepts and interfaces. Experience in writing functional specifications and working with ABAP teams. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to independently lead workshops and functional workstreams. Preferred / Good to Have Experience in SAP Automotive / Dealer Management / Vehicle Sales processes . Knowledge of SAP Fiori and modern S/4HANA architecture . Exposure to SAP integrations with OEM, dealer, logistics, finance, and external automotive systems . Experience in global SAP implementation or rollout projects.
