About the Role -

We are looking for a YouTube & Social Media Manager to manage the day-to-day publishing, optimisation and growth of multiple entertainment channels and social media properties of Omjee’s Cine World.

The role requires someone who understands that digital content management goes beyond posting. You should understand YouTube performance, audience behaviour, CTR, retention, watch time, SEO, content packaging and channel growth.

Key Responsibilities -

- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat properties.
- Upload, schedule and publish movies, clips, Shorts/Reels, trailers, songs and other content according to content calendars.
- Optimise titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, metadata, playlists and overall content packaging.
- Continuously monitor and improve CTR, watch time, audience retention, views, subscribers and overall channel performance.
- Analyse YouTube Studio and platform analytics to identify growth opportunities.




- Identify scenes, moments and content from our movie catalogue that can be repurposed into clips, Shorts, compilations and other formats.
- Coordinate with editors and designers for thumbnails, clips and other publishing assets.
- Have a working understanding of copyright, claims and Content ID-related issues.
- Prepare regular performance reports and actionable recommendations.

Requirements -

- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong hands-on understanding of YouTube Studio and channel management.
- Demonstrable understanding of CTR, retention, watch time, SEO and content optimisation.
- Experience managing multiple social media/content properties.
- Strong understanding of short-form and long-form content behaviour.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into content decisions.
- Solid attention to detail, particularly while handling uploads and metadata.
- Entertainment/media experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Punjabi content and audiences is must.
