The intern will gain practical experience in developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites while working on real-time projects under the guidance of experienced developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize WordPress websites based on project requirements.
- Create and modify WordPress pages using themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Assist in developing responsive and user-friendly website interfaces.
- Customize WordPress themes and templates as required.
- Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins.
- Assist with website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve basic website errors and technical issues.
- Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and basic SEO.
- Ensure websites are compatible across different browsers and devices.
- Assist in website content updates and management.
- Work with developers and designers to implement website requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of development activities.
- Learn and apply current WordPress development practices and tools.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Basic knowledge of responsive web design.
- Understanding of website hosting and domain concepts is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Elementor or other WordPress page builders is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn recent technologies and tools.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
