Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Labour Codes, CLRA, ESIC, EPF, Maternity Benefit and other applicable labour laws.
- Maintain statutory records, registers, notices and welfare-related documentation.

2. Employee Welfare

- Monitor and improve welfare facilities such as:

- Canteen

- Drinking water

- Rest rooms

- Sanitation facilities

- Medical facilities

- Crche compliances
- Organize welfare programs, awareness campaigns and employee engagement activities.

3. Grievance Handling

- Act as a bridge between employees and management.
- Receive, investigate and resolve employee grievances.
- Facilitate quick and fair redressal of worker complaints.
- Maintain cordial industrial relations across the plant.

4. Industrial Relations

- Support management in maintaining harmonious employee relations.
- Assist in union interactions and negotiations, where applicable.
- Participate in Works Committee and other employee committees.
- Help prevent and resolve disputes through counselling and mediation.

5. Employee Counselling & Support

- Counsel employees on workplace issues and welfare benefits.
- Assist employees in matters related to leave, ESIC, health perks,



social security schemes and welfare initiatives.
- Support employees during emergencies and personal difficulties.

6. Training & Communication

- Conduct induction programs on company policies, welfare facilities and statutory perks.
- Organize training on employee welfare, labour laws, POSH, ethics and code of conduct.
- Display statutory notices and employee communication materials.

7. Contractor Workforce Welfare

- Monitor welfare facilities provided to contract labour.
- Ensure compliance with contractor statutory obligations.
- Participate in contractor welfare and safety reviews.

8. Welfare Committees & Surveys

- Coordinate welfare committee meetings.
- Conduct employee satisfaction and welfare surveys.
- Recommend improvements based on employee feedback.

Preferred candidate profile (i) a degree from any University established by law in Social Sciences or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations and Personnel Management;

(ii) a diploma in Social Sciences or Labour Welfare or Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from any University or Institutions specified in the Schedule or Two years experience of working in Labour Welfare of any factory:
