Role Description The Wealth Manager – Secured Loans is a full-time, on-site role based in Ariyalur. This role is responsible for managing secured loan portfolios for rural customers, including assessing financial needs, explaining suitable loan and allied financial products, and guiding customers through application and documentation processes. The position involves conducting credit assessments, ensuring adherence to risk and compliance guidelines, and monitoring loan performance to maintain portfolio quality.





Qualifications

- Robust expertise in Financial Planning and Finance to understand customer needs, structure secured loan solutions, and ensure sound credit decisions.
- Knowledge of Investments and Investment Management to identify suitable asset-building opportunities and provide basic wealth management guidance.
- Understanding of Insurance products to explain risk protection options and integrate them effectively with secured loan offerings.
- Experience in retail lending, secured loans, or microfinance, ideally in rural or semi-urban markets.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse customer groups, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Comfort with fieldwork, local travel, and working in branch-based environments; familiarity with local language and culture is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in using digital tools and financial software for customer onboarding, documentation, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in financial services are an added benefit.
