Job Summary: Responsible for conducting inspection and quality checks of TMT bars to ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and customer requirements. The role includes visual inspection, dimensional verification, mechanical testing coordination, documentation review, and preparation of inspection reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of TMT bars.
- Verify compliance with IS 1786 and customer specifications.
- Review mill test certificates and quality documents.
- Witness mechanical and chemical testing activities.
- Identify and report non-conformities.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare detailed reports.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and client representatives during inspections.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Civil Engineering.
- Experience in steel/TMT bar inspection preferred.
- Knowledge of IS standards, testing procedures, and quality control practices.
- Positive reporting and communication skills.
