Role & responsibilities:

- To manage and control all garment washing processes ensuring correct wash effects, quality standards, cost control, and on-time delivery as per buyer requirements.
- Execute all types of garments washing (enzyme, stone, acid, bleach, silicon, softener, pigment, etc.) as per buyer specifications
- Ensure wash recipes are followed strictly to achieve desire shade hand feel and appearance.
- Handle washing of development samples, photo samples, and bulk production
- Ensure approved wash standards are matched in bulk production.
- Monitor shade variation, shrinkage, twisting, strength loss, and fabric damage.
- Ensure washing quality meets buyer AQL and internal quality standards.
- Operate and monitor washing machines, hydro extractors, dryers and related equipment.
- Maintain proper records of chemicals, enzymes, and consumables & Control chemical consumption to avoid wastage and excess cost.
- Control washing costs and re-wash percentage, monitor garment loss, damage,



and rejection due to washing.
- Plan daily washing capacity as per production requirements. Coordinate with cutting, sewing, and finishing teams for smooth workflow.
- Prepare daily washing status and performance reports & maintain washing logs, batch cards, and shade cards.
- Ensure compliance with buyer, social and environmental norms, follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and machines, Ensure ETP and chemical handling guidelines are followed.
- Supervise washing operators and helpers, Train team on correct washing procedures and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile: Strong knowledge of garment washing techniques,

Understanding of fabric behavior and dye chemistry,

Problem-solving and analytical skills,

Cost awareness and planning ability,

Positive coordination with production and QA teams
