Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 2 to 7 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop HV and LV electrical schematics for Off-Highway/Construction Equipment vehicles and machines.
- Create and maintain electrical circuits, wiring harness routing, harness flattening, and 2D manufacturing drawings using ELD tools.
- Develop Wiring Group (Wiring GP) and vehicle electrical architecture as per project requirements.
- Perform electrical component packaging and integration, ensuring proper fitment and manufacturability.
- Design and release mounting brackets, clamps, panels, channels, grommets, seals, fuse boxes, and harness support structures.
- Select and integrate harness components including connectors, terminals, wires, protective covers, and electrical protection devices.
- Prepare fitment and installation drawings for electrical systems and harness assemblies.
- Support vehicle integration activities,



clearance studies, and packaging assessments.

Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Electrical Schematic Design, Electric Circuit Design, Wiring Harness Design & Routing.
- Hands-on experience with Creo Cabling (ELD), AutoCAD Electrical, and related electrical design tools.
- Expertise in harness flattening, 2D drawing creation, and wiring harness release processes.
- Experience in electrical component packaging and integration bracket design.
- Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems for Off-Highway, Construction Equipment, or Automotive applications.
- Understanding of DFMEA, DFA, DFS, and Design Validation processes.
- Positive knowledge of manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability requirements for electrical systems.
