Incedo Technology is looking for experienced and detail-oriented professionals for the position of Senior Associate, Trade Operations. The successful candidate will work within the Reconciliations team and support the reconciliation of cash, trades, and positions between internal accounting records and external data received from custodians and banks. The role requires hands-on knowledge of investment banking operations, end-to-end reconciliation processes, and financial asset classes such as equities, bonds, mutual funds, and derivatives.

The position also offers opportunities to contribute to process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled operational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform accurate and time-efficient reconciliations across multiple financial asset classes.
- Reconcile cash, trades, and positions between internal accounting systems and external custodian or bank records.
- Investigate reconciliation breaks, exceptions, and discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure all operational activities are completed accurately and within defined service-level agreements and timelines.
- Respond to data-related queries and provide timely support to internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Identify the root causes of reconciliation breaks and contribute to sustainable corrective and preventive solutions.
- Escalate critical operational issues to the team lead or department head to ensure smooth process flow.
- Maintain data integrity, operational controls, and strict adherence to applicable SLAs and process guidelines.
- Own and coordinate assigned work, including delegation and workload management when required.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce operational complexity,



and improve productivity through Lean and continuous-improvement methodologies.
- Work collaboratively across functions to strengthen operational controls and improve stakeholder experience.
- Apply an AI-first problem-solving approach by using automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digital transformation within wealth management and financial services operations.
- Use productivity and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other analytical platforms to support operational excellence.

Must-Have Skills and Experience
- 2.6 to 7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, trade operations, reconciliation, securities operations, or financial services operations.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end reconciliation processes.
- Hands-on exposure to cash reconciliation, trade reconciliation, or position reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of financial markets and multiple asset classes.
- Understanding of equities, bonds, mutual funds, and derivatives.
- Ability to investigate trade and position breaks and support timely exception resolution.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data review, reconciliation, and operational reporting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.




- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Ability to work accurately in a deadline-driven and SLA-focused environment.
- Willingness to work in a night shift from the Gurugram office.

- Hands-on experience with the Intellimatch reconciliation platform.
- Exposure to custody, banking, wealth management, or capital markets operations.
- Knowledge of operational risk, exception management, and data integrity controls.
- Experience in process improvement, Lean methodologies, or operational transformation.
- Exposure to automation, artificial intelligence, generative AI, or data analytics tools.
- Certification or formal training in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Analytics, or related technologies.
