Job Summary

Oak Tree Software is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 1.5–3+ years of hands-on accounting experience. The candidate will work closely with the Senior Accountant and be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, compliance support, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Perform bank, ledger, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.




- Support audit activities and provide required financial records.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients for accounting-related matters.
- Work closely with the Senior Accountant on daily finance and accounting operations.

Required Skills

- 1.5–3+ years of practical accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Good working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience with bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently manage routine accounting activities.

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent. Preferred Profile: Candidates with experience in an IT, software, staffing, or corporate environment will be preferred.
