Civil Engineer FSTP Civil Works

MVR Technology is looking for an experienced and technically capable Civil Engineer to manage and supervise civil construction activities related to Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant (FSTP) works at the project site name is Rajasthan State Govt Project.

The candidate will be responsible for site execution, supervision of civil works, quality control, measurements, contractor coordination, material management, and ensuring that FSTP civil structures are constructed according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and safety standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- FSTP Civil Construction

- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the FSTP site.
- Execute and monitor construction of treatment units, tanks, chambers, foundations, drains, roads, and other associated structures.
- Supervise excavation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and finishing works.
- Ensure proper levels, dimensions, slopes, and alignment of structures.

2. FSTP Structures & Treatment Units
- Supervise civil works for sludge receiving areas, drying beds, treatment tanks, chambers, collection systems, and related structures.
- Ensure proper construction of concrete tanks and hydraulic structures.
- Coordinate civil works with mechanical equipment, piping, pumps, screens, and other treatment plant components.
- Ensure civil structures are ready for installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.

3. Drawing & Technical Execution
- Read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and FSTP-related drawings.
- Ensure site execution is according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and coordinate for technical clarification.
- Maintain updated drawings and site records.

4. Quality Control




- Ensure quality of concrete, reinforcement, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Check reinforcement placement, shuttering, concrete cover, dimensions, levels, and slopes before concreting.
- Coordinate concrete cube testing and other required material tests.
- Ensure proper curing and waterproofing of tanks and treatment structures.

5. Quantity & Measurement
- Prepare and verify quantities of civil works.
- Check BOQ quantities against actual site execution.
- Maintain measurement records and quantity statements.
- Verify contractor bills based on actual completed work.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.

6. Contractor & Labour Management
- Supervise civil contractors, subcontractors, and site labour.
- Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower according to project requirements.
- Monitor productivity and work progress.
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of activities.

7. Project Planning & Progress
- Prepare daily and weekly civil work plans.
- Monitor construction progress against the project schedule.
- Identify delays and coordinate corrective actions.
- Submit daily progress reports to project management.

8. Coordination with Other Teams
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and EHS teams.
- Ensure civil works are completed before installation of equipment and piping.
- Coordinate sleeves, openings, embedded items, pipe penetrations, and equipment foundations.
- Participate in site meetings and technical discussions.

9. Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure safe execution of excavation, RCC, lifting, work-at-height, and other construction activities.
- Coordinate with the EHS team to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.




- Ensure proper PPE and safe working practices for workers and contractors.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the project site.

10. Documentation
- Maintain daily site reports, inspection requests, measurements, test reports, drawings, photographs, and work-progress records.
- Prepare material requirement statements and civil work reports.
- Maintain records of completed and pending civil activities.
- Support preparation of project completion and handover documentation.

Required Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Experience in FSTP/STP/ETP/Wastewater Treatment Plant civil works will be preferred.
- Experience in industrial or infrastructure construction is an advantage.

Required Experience25 years of relevant civil construction/site experience preferred.Candidates with hands-on experience in STP, ETP, FSTP, wastewater treatment, RCC tanks, treatment structures, and industrial civil works will be given preference.
