Position: VP- Business Development

Job Responsibilities:

This is an IC (Individual Contributor) role where the primary focus is acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth. However, the role is designed to evolve into a leadership position, where the candidate will build and manage a team as the business scales.10+ years of experience, preferably in the Advertising or Media industry.

This is not a cold calling job. It involves strategic, planned outreach with specialised offerings.

Incumbent role:

1. Own the full lead lifecycle — initiating quality discussions with strategically curated prospects, and also converting inward leads — converting both into long-term, revenue-generating client relationships.
2. Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new clients.
3. Thoroughly understand each client's needs, products, and challenges to tailor sales proposals effectively and offer solutions that meet their objectives.
4. Deliver persuasive,



strategy-driven sales presentations that clearly articulate product benefits and close deals with new clients.
5. Identify and engage well-researched, high-potential prospects on a regular basis, building a strategic pipeline that brings revenue to the organization.
6. In the near future, take on the responsibility of building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing business development team.

Personal Skills:

1. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
2. Solid presentation, pitching, and negotiation skills to onboard clients effectively.
3. Ability to handle both incoming calls and strategic outbound reach with well-researched prospective clients, ensuring meaningful conversions.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage monthly targets and reporting.
5. Willingness to grow and take on leadership responsibilities in the future.
