Position: English (India) Recording Specialist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $30 - $40/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

- Listen to machine-generated English (India) transcriptions and accurately identify errors or inconsistencies.
- Edit and correct transcriptions to ensure they reflect native-level fluency and authenticity.
- Record yourself reading the final transcription using a laptop microphone in a quiet environment.
- Deliver clear, natural, and expressive voice recordings that adhere to project guidelines.
- Maintain high standards for audio clarity and data quality with every submission.
- Collaborate with the customer s team to provide feedback on recorded content and improve data collection processes.

Requirements:

- Have robust proficiency in English as spoken in India,



with a keen ear for regional nuances and idiomatic expressions.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating a commitment to clarity, accuracy, and expressiveness.
- Be able to recognize and correct errors in machine-generated transcriptions efficiently.
- Be comfortable recording high-quality audio with standard laptop microphones in a quiet environment.
- Be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow technical guidelines precisely.
