Role & responsibilities

- Operate and program the Vision Measuring Machine (VMM) for dimensional inspection of manufactured components.

- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T; requirements to establish inspection criteria.

- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as per quality plans and customer requirements.

- Verify dimensions, geometrical tolerances, and critical characteristics using VMM and related measuring instruments.

- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain inspection records for product validation and traceability.

- Analyze measurement results and identify deviations from specified tolerances.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve dimensional issues.

- Ensure calibration status and proper maintenance of inspection equipment.

- Adhere to quality management systems,



safety standards, and company procedures.

- Support internal and external audits by providing inspection data and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Proficiency in operating VMM equipment and inspection software.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Knowledge of GD&T; standards and dimensional metrology.

- Experience in preparing and reviewing inspection reports.

- Familiarity with quality tools, measurement techniques, and inspection methodologies.

- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
