A VMC Operator (Vertical Machining Centre Operator) works in manufacturing industries to operate CNC/VMC machines used for cutting, drilling, milling, and shaping metal or machine parts.

Turning and Milling Operator works with CNC or conventional machines to manufacture precision metal components by performing turning, drilling, milling, and finishing operations.

Experience in CNC Turning or Milling also preferred

Common VMC Operator Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor VMC/CNC machines
- Read engineering drawings and blueprints
- Load and unload materials/components
- Set tools, offsets, and fixtures
- Maintain machine cleanliness and safety
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain production reports and log books
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Skills Required
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operation




- Drawing reading skills
- Measuring instrument handling
- Tool setup and offset setting
- Basic machining knowledge
- Attention to quality and safety

Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply depending on company requirement
