Role Description The Vision Therapist / Optometrist will provide on-site, full-time care at Toddlescent’s centre in Bangalore Urban, focusing on pediatric patients with visual and developmental challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive visual assessments, diagnosing functional vision issues, and developing individualized vision therapy plans in coordination with other therapists. The role involves delivering one-on-one therapy sessions, monitoring progress, updating treatment protocols, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

The skilled will collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to educate caregivers, adjust interventions based on feedback,



and contribute to case discussions and review meetings. Participation in internal training, adherence to clinical protocols, and support for centre-based workshops and awareness programs are also part of this role.

Qualifications

- Relevant clinical expertise in optometry or vision therapy, with the ability to assess and manage pediatric visual conditions.
- Experience working with children in a clinical or therapy setting, demonstrating patience, empathy, and child-friendly communication.
- Strong skills in interdisciplinary collaboration, including the ability to coordinate care with therapists, educators, and caregivers.
- Competence in clinical documentation, case reporting, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining treatment plans and progress to families and team members.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry, Vision Science, or a related field; additional training or certification in vision therapy is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Bangalore Urban and manage a structured schedule of therapy sessions.
