Role Description The Visa Counselor is a full-time, in office role based in Ludhiana. The role involves meeting with prospective clients, understanding their immigration and visa goals, and guiding them on suitable pathways based on current regulations and program requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling clients, explaining documentation and eligibility criteria, assisting with application forms, and coordinating with back-office teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of files.

The Visa

Counselor will maintain detailed records of client interactions, follow up on application progress, and provide regular updates to clients. The role also includes participating in information sessions, maintaining knowledge of visa and immigration policies,



and contributing to a professional and welcoming environment for clients.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide clear, structured counseling and advisory support to clients on immigration and visa processes.
- Strong communication skills, including active listening, professional spoken and written English, and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
- Attention to detail in handling documentation, forms, and records, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfort working in a client-facing role, with a service-oriented mindset, cultural sensitivity, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document processors) and ability to learn internal case management systems.
- Prior experience in visa counseling, education consulting, or immigration services is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; coursework or training in international education, immigration, or related fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana on a full-time schedule and collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
