Role Description The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished content for training, marketing, product demos, and corporate communications. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, effects, graphics, and sound, and ensuring that videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

The role will collaborate closely with trainers, developers, and marketing team members to understand requirements, refine storyboards,



and deliver high-quality video assets within deadlines.

The Video

Editor will also manage file organization, maintain version control, and optimize videos for various platforms and formats. This is a full-time, in office role based in Kakori.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
- Skills in visual storytelling, shot selection, pacing, and creating engaging educational or promotional video content.
- Ability to work with audio tracks, voiceovers, sound effects, and basic color correction and grading.
- Familiarity with exporting and optimizing videos for web, social media, and learning platforms, including appropriate formats and resolutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and interpreting creative briefs and technical subject matter.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of IT or software concepts (ERP, web applications, or related) is an advantage for editing technical training content.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, communication, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
