Company Description Startup Pedia is a digital media platform founded in 2019 with the mission of making entrepreneurship mainstream. The team produces and shares real-life stories of startups, businesses, and founders, giving them the visibility and recognition they deserve. Much of the platform’s coverage highlights entrepreneurial journeys from across India and occasionally from other parts of the world.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in New Delhi.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing video stories and interviews, assembling raw footage into compelling narratives that align with Startup Pedia’s editorial and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding motion graphics and text overlays, performing color grading and audio clean-up, and adapting content for various digital platforms. The role also involves collaborating closely with producers, writers, and social media teams to brainstorm concepts, refine storylines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content.

Editor is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency,



creativity, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage and assembling engaging, coherent stories.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel across all content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, transitions, and on-screen elements that support storytelling.
- Candidates should be proficient with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar) and basic audio editing.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media formats and digital content trends.
- Candidates should have the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment, manage deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
- A diploma or degree in film, media, communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial; prior experience editing documentary or interview-style content about startups or business is a plus.
