Company Description Radio Surabhi is a dynamic Indian radio station based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, broadcasting in Telugu to a diverse audience across age and income groups. Over the past six years, the station has become a key source of information, entertainment, and community engagement for listeners in the United States. With strong reach on-air, through its app and website, and across social media, Radio Surabhi offers a powerful platform for cultural exchange and community dialogue.

The station’s mission focuses on preserving cultural heritage, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, supporting local artists and creators, and addressing important community issues such as education, health, and social challenges. Team members contribute directly to programming and content that reflect the traditions, values, and experiences of the community.

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Hyderabad or Visakhapatnam.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing video content for shows, events, social media, and promotional campaigns, ensuring high-quality output that aligns with Radio Surabhi’s brand and mission. Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting and assembling clips, synchronizing audio, applying transitions, color grading, and integrating graphics or motion elements. The role also involves collaborating with producers, hosts,



and marketing teams to develop visually engaging content, adapting videos for multiple platforms, and meeting production timelines.

The Video

Editor will contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling, support live or recorded events, and maintain an efficient and organized post-production workflow.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Video Production and Video Editing for short-form and long-form content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, visually appealing output across all projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and on-screen branding.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced media environment.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with creative, production, and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with social media video formats and best practices; experience with Telugu or Indian cultural content is a plus.
- Relevant education or professional training in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
