About the Role

We are hiring Video Editor Interns to join our AI Creative Studio division to help create/edit engaging, high-quality video content for various digital platforms. The opportunity will involve a fair bit of creating cool videos, experimenting, figuring things out, moving fast, failing fast and learning fast. If this sounds fun to you, go ahead, apply!

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form video content for various platforms.
- Contribute to storyboarding, creative direction and content planning.
- Work with raw footage to create engaging, visually appealing videos.
- Edit AI generated videos to improve their quality.
- Assist in the creation of visual content to market NYI’s AI Services Studio.
- Repurpose existing video content into multiple formats and short-form clips.
- Stay updated with current video-editing trends, formats, and social-media content styles.




- Explore and experiment with new editing techniques, creative formats, and AI-powered tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, In Shot, Final Cut Pro, CapCut , or similar editing software.

- Good understanding of video editing fundamentals with a strong visual sense.
- Familiarity with using AI and AI-powered video tools with positive prompting techniques would be a bonus.

- Willingness to work in a fast paced setup with strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of social-media video formats and algorithms.
- Good time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

- Strong willingness to learn and experiment with new tools and techniques.
- A portfolio, showreel, or samples of previous editing work is preferred.
