Role Description The Video Editor role at D Social Media is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos optimized for various social media platforms, including short-form and long-form content. Daily tasks include organizing and selecting footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and performing color correction to ensure visual consistency. The role also involves collaborating with designers and content creators to integrate motion graphics and visual elements that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Editor will work closely with the creative team to meet deadlines, adapt edits based on feedback, and contribute ideas for improving content quality and audience engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating engaging visual elements and overlays.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or similar tools).
- Ability to adapt content for different social media platforms and formats, with a solid understanding of current digital trends.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial, along with a portfolio showcasing previous video work.
