Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kozhikode.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished, engaging content for marketing, training, and internal communication purposes. Daily tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, graphics, subtitles, and sound effects, and ensuring brand consistency across all video outputs. The role involves close collaboration with the creative, marketing, and technical teams to understand project objectives, refine scripts and storyboards,



and optimize videos for various digital platforms.

The Video

Editor will also manage media assets, adhere to project timelines, and maintain high quality standards in line with ASHCODE’s technology-focused brand.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong video editing skills, including proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Candidates should possess skills in motion graphics and visual design, including basic knowledge of tools such as Adobe After Effects or similar applications.
- Candidates should possess valuable audio editing and sound design capabilities, including managing voice-overs, background music, and sound effects.
- Candidates should possess skills in digital content creation and optimization for online platforms, including social media and corporate websites.
- Candidates should possess strong storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail to translate technical and business concepts into clear, engaging video content.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and follow project briefs.
- Relevant experience as a Video Editor or in a similar multimedia role is preferred; experience in IT or technology-related content is an added advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience with a strong portfolio of work.
