? WE’RE HIRING | VICE PRESIDENT – HUMAN RESOURCES (VP-HR)

Avyanna Aviation Pvt. Ltd., India’s No. 1 Flight Training Organisation (FTO), is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial and highly execution-oriented Vice President – Human Resources to join our leadership team.

With a growing workforce of 250+ employees and an ambitious growth trajectory, we are looking for an HR leader who can work closely with the Founders and senior leadership to build a solid, scalable and performance-driven organisation.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who combines strategic HR leadership with a hustler mindset — someone who can build policies and systems, but is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting things done.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement and continuously strengthen HR policies, SOPs, processes and organisational frameworks.
- Work directly with the Founders and leadership team on organisation building, manpower planning, culture, performance and people strategy.
- Own the complete employee lifecycle — recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, performance management, compensation, engagement, development, retention and separation.
- Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning across corporate, operational, technical and leadership positions.
- Manage and strengthen payroll, compensation structures, attendance, leave, benefits and HR operations.
- Ensure strong knowledge and implementation of Indian labour laws, employment regulations, statutory compliances and HR governance.
- Build effective KRA/KPI,



appraisal and performance-management systems with clear accountability across functions.
- Develop systems capable of supporting Avyanna’s growth beyond its current 250+ employee base.
- Partner with department heads to improve productivity, employee engagement, retention and organisational discipline.
- Build a professional HR team and establish HR as a strong business partner rather than merely an administrative function.

Who Should Apply?

We would particularly like to meet candidates who:

✓ Have held a senior HR leadership position such as VP-HR / Head-HR / GM-HR / CHRO or an equivalent role.

✓ Have demonstrated experience in building HR systems and policies, not merely administering existing ones.

✓ Have substantial hiring and talent-acquisition experience, including senior and specialised positions.

✓ Possess strong working knowledge of labour laws, payroll and statutory compliance.

✓ Have managed the complete employee lifecycle in a sizeable organisation.

✓ Are comfortable working directly with Founders in a fast-moving setting.

✓ Have an entrepreneurial / hustler mindset with strong ownership and execution capability.

✓ Prior experience with a startup, high-growth company or founder-led organisation will be strongly preferred.

Compensation

? Salary: As per market standards, commensurate with experience and capability.
