Role Description The Field Engineer & Underwriter will work full time on-site in Guwahati, supporting field assessments and underwriting decisions for valuation and advisory assignments. Daily responsibilities include visiting project sites, collecting technical and financial data, conducting preliminary feasibility and cost analyses, and preparing structured reports for senior consultants.

Engineer & Underwriter will help ensure that valuations and project appraisals are accurate, compliant with relevant standards, and aligned with the firm’s partnership-driven approach.

Qualifications

- Technical and analytical skills in areas such as engineering fundamentals, cost estimation,



and basic feasibility analysis.
- Solid fieldwork capabilities including site inspection, data collection, documentation, and systematic reporting.
- Risk assessment and underwriting aptitude, with the ability to evaluate project information and support sound, evidence-based decisions.
- Proficiency in standard office and data tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software) and comfort working with numerical datasets.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and external experts in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time well, and coordinate multiple assignments with attention to detail
