Role Description The Video Editor role at Industry Ready Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar.

The Video

Editor will work closely with trainers and the content team to edit course videos, promotional materials, social media content, and other educational media. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting and arranging clips, adding transitions, titles, motion graphics, and sound elements to create engaging and clear video outputs. The role also involves color correction and grading, basic audio adjustments, and exporting videos in appropriate formats for different platforms.

Editor will maintain organized project files, follow brand guidelines and visual standards, collaborate in feedback cycles, and support continuous improvement of the academy’s video content.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with raw footage, timelines, and exporting for multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics across educational and promotional content.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance learning materials, explain concepts, and improve viewer engagement.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Good understanding of sound editing basics, file management, and workflow organization for multi-project environments.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to follow brand guidelines while meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience and portfolio demonstrating video work.
