Role Description The User Interface Designer at The Riti will be responsible for designing and refining user interfaces for digital touchpoints such as the website, e-commerce platform, and marketing assets. Day-to-day tasks include creating visual layouts, design systems, and mockups; collaborating with UX specialists, marketers, and developers; and ensuring that all interfaces reflect the brand’s commitment to empowerment and inclusivity. The role involves translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive and aesthetically consistent UI designs, conducting design reviews, and iterating based on feedback and user insights.





This is a contract position based in Mumbai in a hybrid arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Solid user interface design skills, including User Interface Design and Visual Design, with a focus on consistency, accessibility, and brand alignment.
- Ability to create detailed design assets such as Mockups and design specifications for developers and stakeholders.
- Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, including user flows, interaction patterns, and responsive design best practices.
- Basic to intermediate Front-End Development familiarity (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and versioning or collaboration platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design decisions clearly and accept constructive feedback.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with remote and on-site team members.
- Relevant education or training in design, HCI, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce design is a plus.
