Job Title: US Accounting Executive

Location: Durgam Cheruvu, Hyderabad Office-based

Shift: US Night Shift | 6:30 PM 4:00 AM IST

Company Overview:

Unicon is a Life Sciences staffing and solutions company serving pharma, biotech, and medical device clients across the US. We are looking for an experienced US Accounting Executive to manage US accounting operations, including billing, AR, payroll, bookkeeping, and federal/state tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage weekly/bi-weekly client invoicing and billing based on approved timesheets, POs, contracts, and billing rates.
- Reconcile timesheets and billing data through VMS/MSP portals
- Manage AR, collections, payment follow-ups, cash application, and aging reports.
- Coordinate with clients,and account managers to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
- Support bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for W-2 consultants and internal employees using QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or similar platforms.
- Validate payroll inputs, including hours, overtime, pay rates, deductions, and employee changes.
- Maintain QuickBooks records, including AP, AR, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end activities.
- Support US federal tax compliance,



including federal withholding, FICA, FUTA, W-2/W-3, 1099, and coordination with external CPAs/tax advisors.
- Manage and track state tax registrations, SUTA/UI requirements, state filings, annual reports, and renewals.
- Maintain federal and state compliance calendars and ensure timely submission of required information.
- Prepare accounting, AR aging, collections, payroll, and management reports.
- Support audits, tax filings, month-end/year-end close, and financial reporting.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- 510 years of relevant experience, preferably in US accounting or US staffing.
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
- Good knowledge of US accounting, AR/AP, payroll, and tax processes.
- Working knowledge of US federal and state payroll taxes, including FICA, FUTA, federal withholding, SUTA/UI.
- Experience with US payroll and tax compliance is preferred.
- Solid Excel and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Willingness to work US night shift hours.
