Job profile – Planning and Production involving Assembly, Testing, Packing of Positioners.

1. Strong Planning skills.

Plan for execution of MTS (Make To Standard) major portion Plan for execution of MTS (Make To Standard), also

- Need to be very valuable in xcel. Hands on in V Look up and Pivot Tables
- Knowledge of SAP is added advantage

1. Ability to Coordinate with various functions for execution of orders like - Order Booking, Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Dispatch.
2. Get product assemblies done at 100% efficiency from operators.

It’s a shop floor order execution job. Ability to handle the manpower. Be able to get things done to achieve the Dispatch targets.

Need to have “go getter” approach.

1. Though position do not call for supervising the Machine Shop, the candidate’s exposure to Machining of components on CNC/ VMC/ HMC is very essential. Knowledge of engineering concepts related to Jig and Fixtures, way machining is done, Tolerances achieved in various machining processes, Fits and Tolerances for assembled parts.

This shall help candidate to analyze the rejections and rework on shop floor, with their root cause analysis and CAPA. Need to be well versed with 8D methodology while analysing the customer complaints.

1. Need to have the exposure to various manufacturing processes like ---

Al Pressure Die Casting, Hardening, Grinding, Honing, Soldering, Potting, Pretreatment, Powder coating, Anodizing, Plating, Plastic Molding, Rubber Molding,

Need to be hands on the utility and production equipment maintenance.
2. Inventory management concepts need to be abundantly clear

8. Need to have the exposure to or inclination towards Improvement Management like Lean Management/ Industrial Engg/ Methods Engg.

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Pl show few written communication examples while interview.
2. Achieve Operational Excellence through,

- Customer focus – Query resolution, On Time Delivery
- Work measurement, Efficiency, OEE, Productivity
- Lean Manufacturing – Single Piece Flow, Reduction in Manufacturing Lead Time.
- Inventory Management – Kanban, MRP, ITR
- Quality Performance – First Time Right, Rejection analysis, Problem Solving Skills, 7QC Tools, FMEA, SPC.

Customer complaints analysis/ 8D process Knowledge on Fits and Tolerances, Process capability of various machining processes

- System orientation – QMS and EHS management system. Need to be through in systems requirement and its compliance.

Education ----- BE Production/ Mech

Experience ---- Exposure to Auto Ancillary /Hydraulic accessories/ Valves/ Actuators industry is preferred.

Exposure to Machining of components is must.
