Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager / Manager Sales (Technical)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Assistant Manager / Manager Sales (Technical) to drive B2B sales in the construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, and residential segments. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, project identification, technical solution selling, proposal preparation, negotiation, and order closure for both sales and rental business.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate leads and identify new projects/business opportunities.
- Manage sales cycle from inquiry generation to order closure.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and communicate safety, efficiency & cost benefits.
- Develop relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, dealers, and channel partners.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations & Finance for smooth project execution.




- Negotiate effectively, handle objections, and achieve sales targets.
- Develop business across assigned territory and maintain existing clientele.

Requirements

- Experience in B2B Technical Sales / Business Development / Project Execution.
- Experience in Formwork, Scaffolding or Construction Equipment preferred.
- Positive knowledge of the Indian construction market and job-site environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic ability to read structural drawings and understand technical requirements.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
