Role Description The Upwork Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for driving client acquisition and project opportunities through the Upwork platform. This role includes managing and optimizing the agency’s Upwork profile, researching and identifying relevant job postings, and crafting tailored proposals that clearly communicate Digital SunBird’s services and value.

The specialist will maintain efficient communication with potential clients, schedule and attend discovery calls, and coordinate smooth handoffs to internal delivery teams.



Daily tasks also involve tracking proposal performance, refining bidding strategies, and reporting on pipeline metrics, while ensuring consistently professional and inclusive interactions with clients worldwide.

Qualifications

- Upwork platform expertise, including profile optimization, proposal writing, and bid strategy.
- Strong written communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to create clear, persuasive messages.
- Experience in digital marketing environments, with familiarity in SEO, PPC, social media, or related services.
- Proficiency in research and lead qualification to identify high-potential projects and client opportunities.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple proposals, deadlines, and client conversations.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools and CRM or tracking systems to monitor pipeline and outcomes.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and adapt strategies based on performance data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience is beneficial.
