Role Description The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in St Laurn, Koregaon Park, Pune. The role is responsible for overseeing all hotel financial operations, including the preparation and review of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, monitoring internal controls, and supporting compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.

The Financial

Controller will collaborate closely with hotel management to analyze financial performance, optimize costs, and support strategic decision-making.



This role also involves leading the finance team, coordinating audits, and implementing process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust knowledge of Accounting and Finance, including core hospitality financial processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with proven experience in preparing and interpreting hotel or corporate accounts.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with financial software and Excel, including budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis tools.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance professional in hospitality or service industries is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide finance staff.
