Requirement Details Nationality

- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Eligible categories also include specified Tibetan refugees and persons of Indian origin.

Educational Qualification
- Intermediate (10+2) from Uttarakhand Board or equivalent.

Selection Stages for UKSSSC Inter Level Recruitment 2026
- The selection will be done based on a single written competitive test of 100 marks to be held in offline mode, for 2 hours, in objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) pattern.
- The General Hindi, General Knowledge, General Studies and a separate section on Uttarakhand General Knowledge will be covered in the question paper.
- The required marks to qualify for Unreserved, OBC and EWS candidates are 45% while it is 35% marks for SC/ST candidates
- 1/4 of the marks allocated to the question will be deducted for every incorrect response.
- For posts involving typing duties, there will be a typing test to be done after the written exam, for the purpose of determining qualification.
- A merit list will be prepared as per the marks secured in the written test and then the age and alphabetical order will be used as tie breakers.
- The final selection of the successful candidates for various Government Jobs in Uttarakhand will be done after verification of documents.

Reservation Benefits and Category Rules
- As per the applicable government orders, the vertical reservation for SC’s, OBC’s and OWS’s is 19%, 14% and 10% of the total notified posts respectively.The reservation for vertical groups of the SC’s, OBC’s and Economically Weaker Sections are 19%, 14% and 10% respectively of the total notified posts.
- Horizontal Reservation: There is 30% reservation for women, 5% Ex-Servicemen, 4% dependents of freedom fighters, 4% for Orphans, 4% for persons with disabilities, 5% for the candidates linked to Uttarakhand state movement and 10% for the candidates of rural areas.
- EWS candidate should have a valid EWS certificate issued from 1st April 2026 till the last date of application.
